Suffolk Legislator William R. Spencer and Nassau Legislator Judi Bosworth are hosting a public hearing on the importance of protecting Long Island's drinking water. The hearing will provide members of the public with the opportunity to testify and will include presentations from expert speakers, including CCE Executive Director Adrienne Esposito. Topics include:
- Safeguarding our water supply against pollution, overuse, saltwater contamination, and other threats
- Aquifer threats and conditions
- What the public can do to protect our water
