Environmentalists to Receive US EPA Quality Award
NYC – On Friday April 25, 2008, The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will present their 2008 U.S. EPA Environmental Quality Awards to some of New York’s leading environmental advocates including:
Adrienne Esposito, Executive Director, Citizens Campaign for the Environment
Kevin McAllister, Peconic Baykeeper
Bob Deluca, Executive Director, Group for the East End.
According to the EPA, “Each year, the EPA selects those who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to protecting and enhancing environmental quality in our region. The Environmental Quality Award is the highest recognition presented to the public by our office.” Congressman Bishop submitted Esposito, McAllister and DeLuca for this award.
