Whether you call it global warming or global climate change, scientists and the public recognize that human dependence on fossil fuels, like coal and oil, is changing weather patterns across the planet. The effects of climate change can already be felt from the depths of the oceans to the tops of glaciers. The basic science and ecological consequences of a changing climate are well reviewed in scientific reports, addressed in government reports, and discussed in print media. Even popular culture has begun to respond to the reality of our changing climate.
Having trouble keeping up with it all? CCE has organized the Climate Change Resource Center to compile the most important climate change information in one place.
