Support Offshore Wind in New York

Join us for a public meeting to discuss NYSERDA's Offshore Wind Master Plan

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is currently developing an Offshore Wind Master Plan that will guide New York's efforts to harness our vast offshore wind potential. The plan will assess wind energy areas, guide wind developers, and ensure that offshore wind farms are sited responsibly and are cost-effective. The studies and surveys that NYSERDA is compiling for the plan will be critical in developing the offshore wind farms that New York needs to meet our goal of 50% renewable energy by 2030 and fulfill Governor Cuomo's historic commitment to build 2,400 megawatts of offshore wind.

NYSERDA will be hosting a series of public information sessions to discuss its Offshore Wind Master Plan and answer questions from the audience. Join us and support responsible offshore wind development in New York! All sessions will go from 6pm-8pm (presentation and Q&A from 6pm-7pm, and open house from 7pm-8pm).
