Support New York's First Offshore Wind Farm

Tell the East Hampton Town Board that you want clean offshore wind, not dirty fossil fuels, to power the South Fork

Take Action Now

The East Hampton Town Board and Trustees are holding a public hearing for the South Fork Offshore Wind Project—a 90 MW wind farm off the coast of Montauk that will power 50,000 homes and offset the need a new fossil fuel plant. The South Fork has increased its energy needs and must now choose between a new power plant and an offshore wind farm.

The offshore wind farm, proposed by Deep Water Wind, was approved by LIPA last year and will help East Hampton achieve its 100% clean energy goal. We need your help to keep moving this project forward!

Please attend the Town Board hearing with the Trustees and let your policymakers know that you support offshore wind, not fossil fuels. If you can't make the meeting, email the East Hampton Town Board today.

Public Hearing on Offshore Wind Project:

When: Thursday, May 17, 2018, 6:30pm
Where: LTV Studio Wainscott, 75 Industrial Rd, East Hampton, NY

Thank you for taking action. Together we make a difference!

Sincerely,

All of Us at CCE
