CITIZENS CAMPAIGN FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND BROOKHAVEN NATIONAL LABORATORY CO-HOST 2013 LONG ISLAND EARTH SUMMIT

FREE EARTH DAY EVENT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

Upton, NY— Long Island's largest science hub, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and Citizens Campaign for the Environment are joining together to host the second annual 2013 Long Island Earth Summit. The event will combine good science with good advocacy to advance a 2013 Earth Agenda for Long Island. The event will explore climate change impacts on Long Island in our post-Sandy environment. Congressman Timothy Bishop will give a keynote address.

Registered attendees include elected officials, local, state, and federal agencies, civic organizations, utility companies, businesses, schools, and members of the public.
