GOVERNOR-ELECT ANDREW CUOMO ANNOUNCES ADRIENNE ESPOSITO, CCE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, APPOINTED TO ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY, AND RECREATION TRANSITION COMMITTEE

Farmingdale, NY—Governor-Elect Andrew Cuomo announced his transition teams to assist in helping his new administration meet the tremendous challenges ahead for New York. Adrienne Esposito, Executive Director, Citizens Campaign for the Environment, with over 25 years of environmental experience, has been appointed to his Environment, Energy, and Recreation Committee. The first meeting is Tuesday, November 16, 2010.

“I am excited and delighted to be working with Governor-Elect Cuomo’s team of experts. There are a myriad of environmental challenges facing New York, such as climate change, aging energy and water infrastructure, advancing clean energy technologies and keeping our parks open to residents. Addressing these issues is paramount to energizing our economy and ensuring clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and restoration of our waterways,” stated Adrienne Esposito.

Adrienne Esposito is the Executive Director of Citizens Campaign for the Environment and has over 25 years of experience working on local, state and national environmental and energy issues. Esposito is member of dozens of advisory committees on the local and state level, including the Suffolk County Planning Commission, New York State Seagrass Taskforce, and the New York State Water and Energy Working Group.
